About SIXTYNINE SEVENTY:
Amidst growing civil unrest and distrust of the Nixon Administration, we follow the lives of four undergrads from different socio-economic backgrounds during the 1969-70 academic year interspersed with actual film footage of the draft lottery, the first earth day, and Kent State. They confront daily issues of misinformation and public manipulation, women's rights, racial equality and inherit racism, abortion access, political corruption and federal agencies monitoring activist groups.
As these students are confronted with a barrage of oppression and manipulation to further a corrupt administration, they are forced to examine their perspectives and look past what they’re told. How far are they willing to go for what they believe in?
